Fabric to be treated must be dry. Waterproofing will ensure that the canvas shoes remain durable and clean during the time they are worn. Our 18oz vinyl fabric is an industrial coated fire retardant pvc vinyl material known for strength and durability. A spray on containing fluoropolymer is required to waterproof the shoes.

Sail canvas cleaner. For awnings and boat covers we recommend our outdura marine canvas or industrial vinyls. For maximum durability our multi purpose vinyl fabric is treated to help prevent uv damage and mildew. Our 18 oz pvc vinyl is sturdy and made to handle extreme outdoor conditions and heavy stress.

Unless it is well ventilated condensation wets the underside of the fabric eventually leading to mildew. Take care to avoid overspray drips or penetration onto surfaces not being treated. It has a soft hand and aesthetic smooth matte finish for a refined clean look. The ones with a silicone base will break down the acrylic fibers within the canvas causing it to become even more susceptible to moisture.
